Does Tier 9 use the SAM nodes?

I tapped a pure SAM node to do all the unlocks and make Depots. The rest of the components are sink'ed. Was wondering... what the other SAM nodes were for?

Yes, there's some crazy things you can do with it.

If you unlock the converter, you can use SAM to convert the unwanted resources to the ones you want. Also, you want SAM to convert resources to Ficsite Ingot and use them to build the Mk.6 belt.

You also need SAM to make Dark Matter and make anything that uses Dark Matter. It mostly depends on how much you want to use. I tap into one impure SAM node and already make so too many SAM-related resources. But if I want to scale up, I'll have to tap into more SAM nodes.

You can use it in the Converter combined with any other raw material to turn it into another raw material.

SAM is used mainly to make dark matter and Ficsite which are used in in multiple tier9 products.
