Is the mod manager actually working yet?
I know it has the giant disclaimer for mods aren't working for 1.0, but I imagine someone has made something to work with 1.0.

The problem is that no matter how many times I uninstall mod manager, blow away all of the folders it's created in the AppData folders, it still complains with the following.

2 Satisfactory installs were found, but all of them point to folders that don't exist.
"F:\Steam\steamapps\common\Satisfactory"
"f:\steam\steamapps\common\Satisfactory"

Of all my searching, I see half comments of people saying they solved it and another half unable to fix it.

I don't use Discord so I am just curious if it's actually working for anyone. The way it errors, I don't even know if it would actually update even if an update was to come out.

EDIT: And just to be clear, they can take all the time in the world they want to get mods up and running. I just don't know if I am trying to solve an unsolvable problem that won't exist at some point.

"I don't use Discord"
Use discord. Don't alienate yourself like that.
You'll learn 100x more just going there one time, than you will posting here.

I prefer publicly searchable sites that can be indexed by search engines so it can potentially help the next person that has the same question/issue.

no
but I think things are getting closer, may be only days away if new gremlins don't show..

On the other hand, these little hotfixes set em back a bit.. Just keep waiting.

Discord is one of the main sources of malware on the internet, lots of other undesirable content gets posted there too. Honestly, it is either a honey pot or it will be shutdown in the next few years.

Thanks. I'll stop trying to get past this dual install error then.

Even when not a honey pot originally, these types of systems are infiltrated and subverted fairly quickly, else they'd be shut down fairly quickly. But just like anything online really, as long as you're aware you can mitigate to a degree..

I don't use it much anymore, but I've not directly come across anything more untoward than I come across browsing the web. Moderators tend to keep above-board servers fairly clean..
