So, I've gone pretty high. How high can you really go in this game?

You can jump on the freighter when you unlock a milestone for a quick lift waaaaay the hell up. Eventually you'll fall through it though.

If you built a tower, you could go way higher than that in Update 8.

So high that you did not see anything at all on the ground anymore, with everything covered in fog. At least as high as that thingy at the top of the Elevator (not the new 1.0 thing though). And that wasn't the maximum. I could have gone higher i think, I was not blocked, i did not take damage. But i got bored :D

Oh yes, I trashed the save of that build due to crashes, but I made a rounded tower in the middle of the North Forest start area. All around the elevator to see what was the height of the thing. But in the end it was a waste of time for a few weeks. Now I just go give the game a week, but already getting bored. Think building in this game is just not for me. I like thinking out buildings, but this game is to limited or hard in shaping nice buildings or at least the buildings I want. So I will do something else again. 1.0 is just not that what I expected

Alive? I tried building that high to get the achievement and made it about 2 km before getting the death warning and it felt like the platform was still at least another km away.

If you were taking damage then you should have earned the achievement.
