Just saying...people having the issues are bashing Coffee Stain for a bad launch...a very low percentage of people are having issues....but this is to be expected...mostly due to problems on the users end.
They fixed it within a few minutes. Such minor issues are totally normal when releasing a new version. The beta version was not exactly the same as 1.0, that is simply not possible.
I learned on this forum it was related to my mods.
I learned this after reinstalling the game and deleting it again... *sighs*
Then I deleted all mods and reinstalled, everything works.
No crashes what so ever.
I am still sad though that I had to delete my mods.
A better idea would have been to move the mod files/directories.
Then when the mods catch up to 1.0, you have easy access to all your configs.
That mods risk breaking games when a complete new release comes out should be a known fact in 2024.
And in any situation. If you decide to modify the game with 3rd party stuff, do NOT expect the game devs give you support, that is between you and the mod dev.
To explain in a simple way:
You change the wheels of your car with a 3:rd party provider, that provider puts wheels on that are way to big.
You go to the car dealership demanding a free fix from the damage the wheels made.
Perhaps because I have deleted all mods and started a new game instead loading old state?
