if you like designing stuff in 3d space, satisfactory wins. but you don't have to, you can expand horizontally.
factorio is more like an old school game where you chain buildings on a 2d plane. dump it, connect, done. without combat people would get bored very fast.
This is just way too meaningless and boring for me.
Research feels like a check box, without ever feeling fun.
The game had a ton of potential, but it definitely is not what I envisioned 1.0 to be.
Dyson Sphere is really fun, same with Hydroneers. There's techtonica and a bunch of other new and upcoming games just like this one. Satisfactory is a bit dated immo
My younger self would of had the patience to play factorio if I came across it 30 years ago because graphics didn't mean as much back then but that was then and this is now. Satisfactory is easy to get into and it matches my sense of humour.
I suppose it's a fair question, but it must have been asked many times over the years and I doubt V1 has made that much of a difference.
Have you tried searching (I just did. Lots of results)?
