Crashes every 2 mins
I played this game stable in update 8 on my laptop. I have nearly 1000 hours of game time logged. Now every 2 mins the game crashes. Here is what the report reads.

I have lowered all settings to medium.
I have turned off all upscaling.
I have followed 3 other forum posts and changed settings for GPU in BIOS and in game video settings.
I have even spent time in the Regedit and changed some recommended settings for Tdr Delay issues. None of that made a difference so I set it all back to what was already there.

I am at my wits end. Please help. I like this game and it was fun when it was Update 5-8.

Quahox Sep 11, 2024 @ 9:23am

I will try this now, and check back once it has completed. This will take a minute or two.

Im not clear on what you mean by that. I did swap to DX 11 and restart and it made it worse.
Hey, you can do the same thing in the video. It worked for me:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RGx0jUbQVA

It crashes for me too. If you look up crash on the forums there's over 200 pages of comments the first few pages are recent (far as I looked) didn't see any solutions just the DX11 launch suggestion which didn't help.

Hopefully they patch it soon.

GPU issue. Not sure what GPU you have (since it isn't even listed in the specs you posted) but it is most likely outdated GPU drivers.

Game wasn't installed prior to 1.0 or ever on this PC. I've been waiting for 1.0 for awhile. Still I'll try to reinstall it, it's small enough. Though I did verify too. Appreciate the suggestion

No idea why it wasn't listed. It wouldn't let me add a screenshot.

RX6800 with drivers that were updated yesterday. Driver date is 8/23/2024

Works for all other games I play. This is the only issue.
travis.p.campbell Sep 11, 2024 @ 12:17pm
Did a reinstall. Reset all settings to default. still not working. Same error code.
travis.p.campbell Sep 11, 2024 @ 1:35pm
After doing all current suggestions. Including reinstalling, resetting all defaults, and validating all files. This is the new Crash report.

It doesn't look like anything has changed.

I welcome any and all suggestions, I will try every serious suggestion. Oh and yes I have turned it off and back on again.

Keep in mind that all other Steam games that I have work, Minecraft works, and all other computer operations are working.

This game is the only thing that is crashing.

Did you try Vulkan renderer?

First the answer was no, then it became yes as I did it for the attempt.

This time it crashed in 19 seconds. Those 19 seconds were not stable and there were 2 freeze ups.

Newest crash report.
