It's a sandbox game, whatever story or "goals" are there they are here just to give you a direction and a little push. The whole game is not about reaching a goal, it's about a destination and how you get there. That's how sandbox games are, you make your own fun with the toys you're provided. For some it will be just straight up rushing through progression, for some it will be spending dozens of hours building their dream factories.

There is a story added to the game in 1.0, however it is not a story based game. There is an end objective you are working towards but it is up to you to decide how to reach it.

Story, yes.
End game goal, yes.
After, and technically during, that pure sandbox.

Imagine typing all these words just to be wrong.

It's a sandbox game at its core, meaning you can play it however you like. That being said...

There is a story. There is an end game goal. In fact, you have tiers which you have to fulfill in order to unlock more items/machinery/etc., in order to progress and get to the next tier (aka objectives).

The game can be about just reaching a goal/endgame. It's up to each person to decide what they want it to be about.

Not sure why you just repeated what I said like you were making a point? Are you just agreeing with me?

Have you considered the possibility that Archie hasn't read the thread replies?

I like to imagine people possess basic reading with comprehension skills when they choose to reply to somebody else's comment. So I like to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Unfortunately I've been on steam long enough to know that isn't a thing :lunar2019laughingpig:
