End game goal, yes.
After, and technically during, that pure sandbox.
Imagine typing all these words just to be wrong.
There is a story. There is an end game goal. In fact, you have tiers which you have to fulfill in order to unlock more items/machinery/etc., in order to progress and get to the next tier (aka objectives).
The game can be about just reaching a goal/endgame. It's up to each person to decide what they want it to be about.
Not sure why you just repeated what I said like you were making a point? Are you just agreeing with me?
Have you considered the possibility that Archie hasn't read the thread replies?
I like to imagine people possess basic reading with comprehension skills when they choose to reply to somebody else's comment. So I like to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Unfortunately I've been on steam long enough to know that isn't a thing
