Yea! It's so nice. I build super slow and don't rush to the next phase so it's amazing to not have to hand feed them this time around. And with the change from Update 8 to allow holding down the button to pick up leaves automatically, I just go explore and end up with tons of ingredients for biomass upon my return.

Should I collect all biomass in a storage then connect it with the generator ?
or there is a way to collect biomass automatically ?

I don't think there's a way to collect it automatically. Still have to chop down trees (which I rarely ever do) and pickup leaves/wood as far as I am aware. But you can automate the whole biomass & solid bio fuel process and now with the burners having inputs, you can set it all up and just connect a storage container to dump your leaves/wood in to start the process.

EDIT: Now that it's pretty much a fully automatable process (minus the leaf collection), I think I'm going to keep my little burner power plant this playthrough just for kicks.

You can never fully automate biomass, which is why I usually just use it in the early game. Once I get automated means to generate power, I instead create a small production line which has input boxes for wood and leaves and auto-processes them into biomass and solid biomass. I store an output box of each (some use for jelly landing pads, fabric and powering the chainsaw) and then sink the excess, which I usually get a lot from clearing out construction sites.

Huh neat, steam didn't let me view this comment but by quoting it I can.

I never really sink biomass. Too cheap really.

I prefer converting it to biofuel or, if in past RNG deities decides, make coal out of it. I find those options give me more use out of excess biomass. Mainly biofuel as I can have small refuel stations built to outposts for quick refuel for jetpack.
