I was surprised at the "no you can't connect portable miners to belts, there's no suggestion that you can" snark. I'm guessing they got a LOT of people filing bugs that you couldn't do that lol.

Some of the writing is inconsistent unfortunately. Sometimes they make it sound like an actual AI, sometimes there is too much human emotion in the message for it to be an AI. Unless it's somehow justified later why they did it like that it's just poor writing (hopefully it's the former). You should decide if you want to have a classic, emotionless AI assistant or something resembling an AGI. It's jarring when it keeps alternating between both.

The humour itself is fine, no complaints.

I'm only a few hours in my 1.0 save file, but I think my favourite quote from ADA so far would probably be:

"Portable Miners, obviously, do not have a connection for Conveyer Belts. There is nothing to suggest, visually or functionally, that they can be connected to Portable Miners. If this is something you struggle with, do not worry. FICSIT has alternative uses for all their pioneers."

I still wonder what those "alternative uses are". Maybe better if I don't know. Does anyone else have a favourite ADA quote? (Just try to avoid saying any quotes with major spoilers)

They clearly had a lot of fun rewriting ADA and I'm glad they did. I'll be unlocking hypertubes soon and I'm eager to hear what she has to tell me about those. Even pre 1.0 that Milestone included a disclaimer message from ADA.
