Game is regularly crashing
The game is regularly crashing and giving an occasional BSOD. I initially couldn't launch the game at all without crashing my computer. I turned off all OC for both CPU and GPU and then I uninstalled and re-installed. I started getting an error showing that I didnt have enough VRAM (which is super weird given I have a 4090). I lowered the resolution of my monitor to 1080p despite it being an ultrawide and once I was able to get into the main screen, it would then regularly launch for me at any resolution after that, however whenever I try to start a new game, it crashes regularly and still sometimes causes a BSOD. I tried turning down graphics settings and shrinking resolution again, but I cannot get into a new game under any circumstances.

Computer specs
Windows 11 (fully updated)
Nvidia 4090
Intel 14th gen i9

Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to move forward

It is the CPU, you need to contact intel for RMA
Look online for "intel 14gen crash"

I've seen the news on it but I have been gaming on this for 6 months with no problem on any other game so hesitant to throw out the CPU

Well the manufacturer of the game says other wise. This is probably by far the most CPU intensive game you play. So its not a surprise this one is the one causing it to buckle.

Try running in DX11 and see if it happens....there seems to be A LOT of DX12 issues.

Have you tried enabling vsync to limit the framerate? By default it's unlimited and iirc it had get pretty high. Could be causing you issues with stability.

Can you expand here? Did Coffee Stain say something about 14th gen i9s?

playing fine since >4h, but on Linux and with AMD GPU

Lower your P-Core ratio on the CPU. I couldn't even launch the game until I lowered it.

DX11 alone didnt Ficsit *wink*

I lowered the FPS cap to 60 as well and its starting to load *fingers crossed*. Ill try turning on DX12 and raising FPS again until it is unstable again to narrow in but yay! The factory must grow

I can't even get that far. Game simply will not load. Can't change settings when the game wont even load to begin with. I also uninstalled and reinstalled.

DX12 is working and just needed capped FPS. Haven't run into that before, but game looks and more importantly works just fine at 144 FPS
