Achievements not awarded in offline mode

I think that is more of a steam thing

All my other games I get achievements offline. It might be a steam issue but the devs at Coffee Stain will need to ensure it works.

If you are offline, the game can't tell steam that you are getting awarded an achievement...

Steam lets you earn achievements offline, but they will only sync with your profile once you go back online. That's a Steam thing.

Steam is not granting achievements offline for this game at present. It did not sync any like getting my first slug and others until I repeated the task while being online.

I get many achievements offline without being online. This does need to be fixed.

One needs to have the "Steam overlay enabled for the game for it to work".

Every other game I own get its awards while being offline and obviously while being online. I hardly ever play while being online and have over 1300 achievements this way.

I've actually never bought a Steam Deck because I've read countless amount of times that getting offline achievements in certain games is prone to break. It's probably depending on certain games.

Being online, achievements don't work either.
I don't give a damn about achievements because that's not why I play, but it pisses me off that they don't work.

Can't tell if the issue is on the game's side since I'm not dev and your numbers could show there may be something but Steam themselves warn on their documentation that offline achievements can sometimes get wrong when syncing once back online

Not sure how you can get it to sync your online profile on other games while still being fully offline tho. Or maybe you talk about multiplayer games who could potentially enable achievements via servers

As long as I have a game that does not require one to be online, I get nearly all my achievements offline. At one stage I did not, but then I did not allow the Steam Overlay in my game. But since I have enabled that a few years ago, I continue to get my achievements while I play. There are a few that will only give you the achievement when you close the game but most provide it while I play in offline mode.
It might be a setting within steam that I setup, but it is only an issue for me with Satisfactory.

Once I connected to steam it did not sync and give me the achievements. I loaded the same game in a test and for example, the one for get your first slug only activated while being online. It did not then sunc the others I should of had, I had to redo them.
A little work from the devs is needed, but I am sure with their skills they will work it out soon for all of us that enjoy offline playing.

This post needs to be left for the devs to respond or it will just starting working properly soon.

Achievements stats not recording in OFFLINE MODE

I created a discussion regarding Achievements not been awarded in OFFLINE mode but they are also not been recorded either.

For example:
I am about to complete the second Space Elevator task, but it tells me I have only placed 22 blocks and 33 conveyors.
Only 2 Mercer spheres recovered, but I have 7 in storage excluding the ones used in the MAM.
The few items I do have recorded is while being online to get certain achievements.

I have confirmed with a friend.
This is one for the devs to sort out. Lets wait and see what they say. Thanks.

I also have incorrect Mercer sphere count,Hard Drive researching & summersloop. Never got the achievement for creating the Space elevator but it gave me the !st Phase Milestone. My internet did go down while I was playing so it couldnt sync when I closed the game. It did sync up when I restarted (& exited) later but the Space elevator never popped so I will deconstruct it & make it again - to see if that works.
