Getting past "missing AB_FluidExtras" error
After installing Satisfactory 1.0, and then trying to delete all my old mods (probably should have done that before updating!), and failing that, just deleting SMM, still kept getting error message "Plugin 'AB_FluidExtras' failed to load because module 'AB_FluidExtras' could not be found. Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project.". Uninstalling Satisfactory and reinstalling even didn't get past this, and verifying local files passed completely; still failed to run with same error.

Final resolution was: after uninstalling Satisfactory completely, also delete its install directory, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Satisfactory. Only then reinstall Satisfactory 1.0, and then for me it finally worked.

I had the Satisfactory Plus mod installed over the old 0.8 version, which included a lot of other mods. Maybe there was a better "more correct" way to go about this (removing all mods before updating Satisfactory), but this is what finally worked for me. Posting here in case this verbosity is helpful to others.

Yes, deleting the Satisfactory game folder from Steam is a critical step as simple uninstall/reinstall doesn't remove any leftovers from there.

its cause of those stupid mods, and the fact the satisfactory mod loader doesnt want to open anymore so you cant uninstall the mods through it

i only used the satisfactory mod manager. I havent deleted any mods, I just disabled them all through that. No issues for me running the game

Fair enough, this likely works for some (most?), didn't work for me as I couldn't even get SMM to run with S 1.0 installed, so I had to take the more extreme step.

i removed the mods directory (~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Satisfactory/FactoryGame) and it solved the issue
