New "machines" post 1.0

so will there be more machines that will patch in after 1.0 or are we good? i stopped playing the EA because after every new major update, i had to tear down nearly everthing ive build to this point. cool, "EA" no hard feelings, but i aint have the time for this tbh. or do i have to force steam not to update?

Are you asking if there will be a 2.0 after 1.0 that will come with new machines?

Some resource nodes have also been added, removed or changed in purity in 1.0.
So that will also mean you will have to recheck your EA save.

In my opinion it will be better to just start with a new save

Yeah, not entirely clear what you're asking. 1.0 is THE game, so yeah it will different from what we have now. Snutt said that work will continue after 1.0 but there won't be any more world-breaking changes that would require massive rebuilds, mostly fixes and maybe some new additions.

If you haven't played in a while then you need to start a new save.

I'm pretty sure they are asking if there will be additional content post-1.0 that will cause them to rework their factory if they want to use the additional content, you know, DLC? and expansion of some kind? or is 1.0 all there will ever be in the game so they can build without having to think about reworking their factory for the 30th time.

Not sure why people are having trouble with a pretty simple question. Now, obviously nobody knows for sure what actually may or may not be added in after 1.0. The devs claim it won't be the final update, but even they don't have their plans set in stone at the moment. That said, they've mostly focused on QoL adjustments and some rebalancing the past several updates, and this is the first time in ages they've genuinely added in (a lot of) new machines and progression again. Can't promise there won't ever be more, but it should be just about the safest time yet for your purposes.

yes my question is, will there be more or new content AFTER 1.0. yes i have time to play, but not enough to rebuilt my whole factory x) sure i will make a new safe with 1.0. but if my "map" crumbles when... idk... 1.1 releases, i have to give it a pass i guess...

OK, can we chill please? The question wasn't entirely clear but legit as the OP does not have the time to rebuild his word for the N+1 time.

So, like I said earlier, before the thread the derailed into reddit-like nonsense... Snutt indicated that we should not expect major changes post-1.0. Work will continue after 1.0, surely there will be fixes and maybe even additions but it is safe to start a new world.
