had enough and built everything new, Now it works. So probably this was the reason. ty
I had these coal generators work perfectly since months. then I added two new ones and suddenly two old generators got no water though all pipelines where connected corrrectly. After a splitter the water just didnt flow anymore (and yes, I build the splitters on an existing pipe, I dont know how to build it otherwise, they dont come with a pole).
==> So I just erased that whole pipeline and splitter and build fresh, then water was flowing again.
Packagers are the annoying ones as you need a temporary 2m foundation to free place the cross junction inline with the input/output
There is a new tier of belts in Tier 9 that is able to exactly transport the output of a Mk3 miner on 250% overclock.
So you build the cross junctions always first - is it worth the additional work?

Meanwhile, it's much, much faster to place down Mk2 pipes first, and then snap junctions onto them for a raised manifold like this one:

The only time I put a junction on a pipe is to rotate it so it’s vertical.
I’ll use a junction to ctrl snap water extractors to line them up where I need them
