maximmum possible power?
i'm looking to set a world record for power in a vanilla world what are the numbers i'm looking to beat/achieve? any idea of how much the max power is and how to get there?

Tap all oil crude spots, make it into rocket fuel, mine every coal node for fuel and coal generators, make lots of nuclear plants, use biomass burners, and don;t forget the geothermal geysers..... Probably it will be over 800k mw power, even more. Overclock as much as possible too. But no WR on it, only WR is for 'finishing' the game aka get all tiers done and all Phases passes. But that WR is illegal for it skipped the on-boarding tiers

probably in the range of 5-10TW would be my guess.

1200 uranium/min into a full chain going to ficsonium fuel rods was something like 1.5TW all in all, add in coal, fuel and slooping, hitting 10TW should be possible.
TL;DR
6 TW (6,000 GW or 6,000,000 MW)
Possibly more like 12 TW with sloops.

Theory:
  • Uranium:
    Map has max 2,100/min.
    1. Uranium Fuel Rod
This converts into 54 Uranium Fuel Rods per min
This sustains 252 nuclear reactors. (630k MW)
      Produces 2,520 waste/min.
    2. Plutonium Fuel Rod
Uranium waste converts into 22.4 Plutonium Fuel Rods per min.
Enough to sustain 224 nuclear reactors. (560k MW)
      Produces 224 waste/min.
    3. Ficsonium Fuel Rod
Plutonium waste converts into 112 Ficsonium Fuel Rods per min.
Enough to sustain 112 nuclear reactors. (280k MW)
      No further products.
  • SAM: (Using ratios from earlier.)
    Map has max 10,200/min.
This converts into 2,550 Reanimated SAM per min.
This converts into an additional 30,600 Uranium via Bauxite conversion.
This isn't practical as it consumes far more than is on the map, but you can upscale other resources into it as well. This likely isn't achievable even consuming everything on the map but that's too much math and we're just theory-crafting so we'll just use this figure anyway and leave it separate.
This converts into (9,180k MW) from Uranium Fuel Rods +
(8,160k MW) from Plutonium Fuel Rods +
(4,080k) MW from Ficsonium Fuel Rods.
    A total of (21,420k MW).
  • Oil:
    Map has max 12,600/min.
This converts into 16,800 Heavy Oil Residue per min.
This converts into 33,600 Fuel per min.
This converts into 50,400 Rocket Fuel per min + 8,400 compacted coal per min. Additionally, this consumes 16,800 coal per min.
Compact coal is enough to sustain 1,176 coal generators. (88.2k MW)
Rocket Fuel converts into 50,400 Ionized Fuel per min + 6,300 compacted coal per min.
Compacted coal is enough to sustain 882 coal generators. (66.15k MW)
Ionized Fuel is enough to sustain 16,800 fuel generators. (4,200k MW)
  • Coal:
    Map has max 42,300/min.
We lose 16,800 to oil conversions and a heap more again to steel products.
It would be safe to assume there is none left for power generation but we'll calculate it anyway.
This converts into 25,500 compacted coal per min.
This is enough to sustain 3,570 coal generators. (267.75k MW)

So this gives us an unrealistic total of 27,512.1 GW or 27.5 TW.
Realistically, ignoring the additional uranium you can achieve 6,092.1 GW or 6 TW.
How much more than that comes down to how effeceint you can be and converting everything that is left over into more uranium (or maybe coal if its ratio is better?). You also have access to sloops which can double your best ratio, however, that is too much math (again) so we'll just assume it can double everything and be done with it. ~12TW

Just as a complete side note... If you have to ask this, you lack the capacity to set a world record for this. Knowing how to get there is not negotiable for being the best in the world.

Also to give you an idea of the scale you are going to be dealing with...

This is what 1.6TW looks like. Red outline. There are two floors 800GW each.

You sure about those numbers without slooping? I don't think there's enough resources on the map to make more than 95.7 Ficsonium fuel rods/m if you aren't doubling anything. The SAM is the limiting factor there, using all of it for trigons. Of course you can sloop that, but it does eat into your proposed SAM to power conversion rate.

You are quite right. There aren't enough resources on the map to do many of the things I suggested though. It was a thought exercise using generalised numbers to just ballpark a figure.
