build floor by blueprint issue?!
I design a Foundation 1m 5x5 in blueprint, if a place on the world, then remove 3x3, i can't build a water extractor in the 3x3 space, but what if I place the 1m foundation in build mode zoop and remove 3x3, I can build a water extractor in the removed 3x3 space. a little bit annoying :lunar2019laughingpig:

1 m foundations on the ground are not a good choice, they won't line up with other foundations (and they sink halfway into the ground, leaving only 0.5 m exposed), best to use the 2 m as the smallest one, then it will all line up well. As for making a square and then tearing a hole to place machine, I have never heard of anyone else doing this, you say it only works sometimes?

Blueprint floors have different attachment points from regular floors. It is a bit annoying, yes.
Use zoop mode to lay down large amounts of floor. I find that around 7-9 of the 4m platforms is a good elevation for most big buildings. It's okay to have a second floor in blueprints, for double stacking the smaller buildings, but I haven't put a first floor in any blueprint and it seems to work best.

That problem must be new. In Update 8 I built a whole platform over Dune Desert with 4x4 foundation blueprints and had no problems to place stuff on it.

The only problem I noticed with blueprint foundatons was that their angle is slighly different from zooping foundations. After serveral hundert meters there was a small gap between the two building styles.

Can you elaborate more on these "attachement points" and what isn't possible or difficult to build on these foundations?

I think it's actually worse than that starting in 1.0.0.4. The factory I've been working on for nearly 200 hours based on a new curve method I've been writing a guide about can't be finished now because of what I believe is a bug:

I didn't see the problem from 1.0.0.4 in any earlier release. I think the gap you're writing about is directly related to the misaligned corners problem I found. I filed a bug report for it:
