Mega factory save stress test

I want some save files with absolutely massive factories. I want to check my FPS while there. See if it is possible to build something like that on my PC.

Where can I find other people's saves?

Not everyone is keen on sharing their savefile, and when they do it's often in some discord. Here's one amazing world I do know, which at least has a save file linked in the description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqURlDtafYE

Do mind that it's an Update 6 save, so chances that some factories will catastrophically fail are pretty high. That may change the performance impact to some degree, though even just the amount of decorative buildings, signs, and lights in it will kick an underpowered PC in the teeth.

I spent hours marvelling at Stin Archi's save while waiting for 1.0 to drop. Truly spectacular. 3 or 4 facilities in particular were especially jaw-dropping. I wouldn't call it a particularly large save though. As it was pre-u8, he may've been nearing the max item limit.

I guess there's a trade off - you can either go highly detailed bespoke facilities with max aesthetics, or mega machine numbers, but not both?

It's not ultra massive machinewise, but it does have a lot of decorations. IIRC those were also optimized a lot in 1.0, by switching them from full on UObjects to simpler ones. So yeah, it's not the best benchmarking save, I just couldn't find any better ones and it's probably better than nothing. If nothing else OP will have a nice thing to explore :P
