Setting not saving...

So figured most of the bugs were being taken care of started a new 1.0 game. It won't save my game settings. Every time I continue I have to readjust my audio and graphic and hud settings. This is bad even for Coffee Stain. Yes before you ask I am applying and saving.

Make sure the settings files are not "read only" for some reason. It happened to me, dunno why, maybe I did it myself, or something else happened.

Also, you don't run Update 8 still on the side, by any chance?

The files were all marked as Read Only. IDK why. That is absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully this works. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, it happened to me, twice maybe even. I thought I was going crazy.

I have done this now 4 times. Each time I log out settings are not save and file are reverted back to Read Only. Freaking game is broke.

Weird. Is is possible you some security software touching these files?

Someone had this same issue on the QA site...deleted the game...FactoryGame folder as well (saving .sav files and blueprints)...was all good after re-install.

Someone had this same issue on the QA site...deleted the game...FactoryGame folder as well (saving .sav files and blueprints)...was all good after re-install.

I just checked the QA site and made a ticket. No one had this issue. I looked. I have never used blueprints in the game either.

Nope, I have my AV setup properly. The files are saving each time. The AV is not the issue.

Thought it was QA...regardless where it was...that was the solution.

Too bad your advise was wrong. I followed what you said just to see. Nope...Still not saving settings. Game is F'd...First time playing since 1.0, thought they had fixed some of the bugs. Apparently I was wrong.

Did you delete your FactoyGame folder in your Local directory? Not the Steam directory

Your .sav files are here: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames\BIGNUMBER

Delete this folder after you save your .sav files: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\FactoryGame

Then re-install game.
