Converyor belts stop building after laying down multiple belts

I have an issue where I am laying down multiple belts or travel tubes, and they will stop building. No error pops up. The only way to get it to start building the belts or tubes is to click on different buildings and items in the build menu, then go back to the belt I was trying to lay and attempt it again, and most times, this resolves it, and it will start laying the belts and tubes again. This is not an issue with placement as they snap in place. It just will not build. It seems to happen after laying anywhere from 1 to 8 belts, then all of a sudden, after laying the same belt or tube, it will not build and give no error. The only way is to start clicking on different items in the build menu or leaving and reentering, and eventually, I can lay another 1 to 8 belts. This happens when I build a long belt or tube line and lay down multiple belts or tubes one after another.

I have the same issue. It's a bug. One of many. But wait for the apologists to arrive in troves to tell you that it's all your fault and that all games have bugs :)

You have a good idea of cause and effect for this bug, and
I would report it to their official site, and provide enough information for them to replicate it and repeat it themselves... include images, instructions etc.

The faster they can see it, repeat it, the faster it can be fixed.

Some of the toughest bugs for the devs to squash, are the ones they can't replicate.

Meanwhile beside overstacking, I would suggest widening your bus and maybe look at blue prints to avoid the cause.
