Then I am off. Could have swore it was something else.
Dont think so. It is fresh save drom day one of 1.0, dont think they changed anything after that conidering nodes.
Yea, I started in dune dessert, so just uncapped only caterium node that is decently close.
Edit: Found it with a calculator and setting it to 0.8:
https://www.satisfactorytools.com/0.8/codex/items/copper-ingot
Edit 2: Also with SCIM using the Early Access part:
https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/items/detail/id/Desc_CopperIngot_C/name/Copper+Ingot
In both it is 50 copper ore + 25 iron ore to 100 copper ingots.
Patch 1.0:
Introduced Tempered Copper Ingot and Leached Copper Ingot recipes
Copper Alloy Ingot
Changed recipe craft time from 12 to 6 seconds
Changed Copper Ore cost from 10 to 5
Changed Copper Ingot product from 20 to 10
So it's not really the iron that changed but the cycle time and copper cost (which in the end kinda change just the iron)
Nice, thank you.
Thought something changed.
But Copper Alloy is a lot faster than the standard copper, require fewer machines.
And combining it with Iron alloy, you can offset some of the iron use, if thats what you need depending on the factory/location.
The extra iron does make the situations where its not what I want, a little higher tho.
Honestly though, these Alloy recipes really just come down to what resource you were trying to enhance and maximise the consumption of for a given build. There's so much of both scattered around. I wouldn't worry about it... unless you're trying to play on an old save.
This.
It doubled the iron consumption, so it could be remedied just by reworking whole subfactory, or getting other node (thus compromising other subfactory).
