Xeno-basher and Novalisks are all you need.
While I'd LIKE them to improve combat with better balance between weapons, a few new weapons, new enemies,ect... this is a factory building game first and foremost, so development time should be focused on improving that aspect above all else.
i am VERY happy that critters don't re spawn... if they did, they'd quickly become an annoying chore in areas you need to move through regularly
the only change i'd recommend in Rebar gun is to make the ammo stack to 100 or 200, and that's a minor suggestion for convenience sake
If you want to use the rebar gun to kill everything, don't forget you can just build foundations anywhere to get out of range or to hide behind.
I just bash them senseless, it's faster anyway.
Why caterium though? Also why iron? Should be steel.
Rifle is the real weak one, it's barely any stronger than the rebar gun but is a major PITA to make ammo for AND is after it on the tech tree.
