Hello, players! How aware are you of clipping?
I’m becoming increasingly aware of clipping the more I play. However, I’ve noticed that this awareness is becoming a bit extreme and is starting to limit me.

For example, when you have conveyors stacked and could use splitters on all of them—even if they’re not in the same vertical line—they still clip slightly with other conveyors, and that feels frustrating to me. As a result, I’ve stopped doing that and have been searching for alternatives, often using more space because of it.

Many large YouTube channels don’t seem to be very aware of clipping. So far, the only time I’m not overly mindful of it is when I’m decorating. I accept that some clipping can happen in decoration, but for anything functional, I find it challenging to overlook.

My point in sharing this is to see if others have similar views. I hope to find ways to avoid limiting myself or connect with players who feel the same way I do.

Thanks!

I justify a lot of the clipping by the machines simply being welded/built together as one unit. Clipping is a feature, you can totally play the game and avoid clipping all the way but being allowed to make the most convoluted clip spaghetti ever avoids frustrating roadblocks.

First i was just messing around and then i didnt care, i used it to my advantage but later when i build bigger more serious i take clipping into consideration when i design my factories.

I want everything to be somewhat believeable so floating platforms, belts going through buldings and pipes coliding is not an option and it doesnt really take much to achieve this.
If you ain't clippin' you ain't tryin'.

Logistics floors - if I can't see it, there's no clipping.
