Does Satisfactory have a "Creative" Mode?
I enjoy this game immensely, but at a certain point managing the harvesting of all the numerous resources all over the map and meeting the growing power needs for machinery gets me completely overwhelmed and my enjoyment of the game just tanks. I have Parkinson's disease and two of its many non motor symptoms is mild to severe cognitive impairment (mine is mild) and mild to severe anxiety (mine is mild). Is there a way to play this game and not have all of the imposed resource and power limitations that drive me nuts and still unlock the levels as you go? (A tutorial on this topic would be great.) I play No Man's Sky too and mainly use the Creative mode which gives me unlimited resources to play the game to my hearts content. I wish that I could play Satisfactory straight up and enjoy doing so, but it just doesn't work for me with my disease. Thanks in advance for any and all help provided. It will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

You could try the advanced options - but they will block achievements if I'm not mistaken - mods are also an option.

There's also SCIM and you can edit things into the save file.

If you can live without achievements - advanced game settings. Here you can choose with/without power, no build cost etc.

If you still wanted achievements, settings will give you an option to make animals passive. Its not much but one less thing to worry about.

Thanks to Kage Goomba and mackster for your excellent replies. What does SCIM stand for? Has anyone else here played Satisfactory using the Advanced options and could provide me with some more helpful recommendations?

SCIM takes a bit to get used to but you basically feed it your save file and poke around.
AFAIK It shouldn't break achievements.

Advanced Options however will block/stop them AFAIK - and they speak for themselves - I've not looked - but from what I've heard - you can turn off power requirements - unlimited stuffs - etc etc.
Your encouraged to start a new save with them turned on and explore for yourself.

Should be pretty clear what/where/how.

SCIM you would use to insert/remove items into your game/map - like give yourself all the hard drives/power slugs - etc.

Just a matter of picking your options at this point.

Can confirm from own experience, loading up a save game that was exported from SCIM does not block achievement progress. Accidentally zoop'ed some foundations into a cliffside the other day, used SCIM to delete em (yeah, I know, coulda just left them, but that sort thing just bugs me :), and afterwards found some mercer spheres/sloops and noticed both collect-a-thon achievements progressed, so looks like no effect to me.

Correct. SCIM does not nor do MODS break achievements. Even so, I myself caved after so long and just went full sandbox except for Power. I keep that on as a small challenge to myself. MODS are my preferred suggestion though over SCIM.

Use a trainer :3

You can get the achievements still that way.

Please don't use clients for hacking in Satisfactory. Just use Advanced Game Settings or SCIM or mods or something.

Really? With all the Advanced Options and Mods?

Clearly you like doing things the hard way.

I don't know if it impacts achievements, but it is worth mentioning that there IS a flag in your save game that records whether the save has been modified or not. You can see it if you read the debug report after a crash, where the rest of the settings like No-Power mode are recorded.

Mods don't affect achives, but as soon as enable any of the Advanced Game Settings (such as the No Power, No Building Cost etc.) then achievement progress with that save halts. Presumably (but not tested), if had different save games on the go, and didn't use AGS in the other, then while loaded in that game, progress would continue.
