My Nvidia says Satisfactory is not supported. Is there a solution to this?

I have everything on max like all my games yet Satisfactory is the only game that makes the extractor fan on my heat exchanger operate continuously. I am wondering if NVidia did support Satisfactory that some optimisations could be applied.

Any suggestions? Many thanks.

I tend to ignore GeForce Experience - it gets in the way too many times short of letting me know there's a driver update.

I also think its bloatware as well.
maybe download msi afterburner and make a better fan curve to make it silent?

I did have a 4080 which had a bad temp sensor, which caused some areas in some games to make the card set the #3 fan to 100%. Did not do it in all games, and only in games which had like fog/fire effects. RMA'd it and they replaced it with a new 4080 super which so far is working fantastically. set fans to 30% and its dead silent, and stays pretty chill.

Just upgraded from a 1660 to a 4060. I had to reinstall the Nvidia app to get it to work on this game. Since then, no problems.

Ah, I will look into the 4060, maybe the RTX 4080 is just a cheap ass version.

the 4060 is the cheap version, but over a five or six year old 1660? huge improvement. playing the game in ultra now. I also went to 32 gigs of ram from 8 for my pc last week too. every little bit helps.

GeForce Experience, yes.

It says Satisfactory is not supported. I am sure it used to be. If it is not or not going to be that is fine. I am asking if it is meant to be and if so I would need to fix something.

GFE has been replaced by NVidia App.

Geforce working is not a requirement for the game to work. It honestly will probably cause as many problems as you think it will fix.

I am constantly amazed by how little PC gamers know about their hardware, how to communicate efficiently and still after all these years, don't know what a search engine is.
Nvidia isn't the problem, Your drivers are.

Ironic considering you obviously didn't read the thread in full.
While the OP could have communicated better - its not a driver problem.

Don't be quick to judge until you fully read the situation.

I have 2 desktops. One has an Nvidia RTX 2060 w/12gb DDR6 VRAM the Other has a Radeon RX7600XT w/16 gb DDR6 VRAM. I use a software program to control all the fans, Including GPU fans. I also use an overlay to see, in game, what my GPU, CPU, and RAM are doing. What I found was that the Nvidia card temp , while running this game. was about 170* which caused the fans to increase their speeds in order to cool GPU down. But on the RX7600XT the temps were around 140*. Which means fans don't need to speed up as much. Also the Nvidia has 2 fans and the Radeon has 3 fans. I would suggest you check what your GPU temp is while running the game. The hotter the temp the faster the fans are going to run.

older 1660ti handles it like its nothing..not even breaking a sweat. this game is more cpu stressful than gpu stressful

Not CPU intensive. Here's what my overlay is showing for CPU, RAM, and VRAM.
CPU: 20% Utilization of 8 core @ 4.5Ghz temp 141*F
GPU: 94% Utilization and 4.8Gb of 12Gb VRAM Temp 180*F
Ram: 12.4 Gb of 32Gb Ram @ 3200MHz Temp 120*F
20% CPU Utilization versus 94% GPU Utilization.
This is on the older Nvidia system with a Ryzen 7 8core and Nvidia RTX 2060 with 12Gb Vram.

Please, don´t make a PhD thesis out of the technical requirements for the game. This is not MS Flight Simulator 2024, it is still a medium demanding game. In most of the cases players get problems, when their components do not harmonize together, e.g. much too strong graphic cards and weak CPUs.
I have been running this game for 4 years now, even before the UE update, on an i7-8700 and a GTX 2070 super, perfect on highest settings without any problems at all, thousands of hours.
Graphic problems: -> see above or force the game to start with -DX11 ( in the Steam settings ) could solve the problem with the crazy fan.

@Mogges; Like you I have been running this game since Alpha 5. The Nvidia system I have is what I started playing this game. I think most of the issues regarding GPU's comes down to user graphics setting. I can run this game on Maxed graphics with no DLSS or FSR used on a 2560x1440 @ 165HRz refresh, but when I do the temps skyrocked and the fans then have to crank up to max. But if I only lower setting a notch down. The temps drop and the fans don't need to run at max speed. When setting graphics, it's not so much what you want, as to what the graphics card can handle. My Radeon handles this game at max with no over-heating. But it's a newer card with more power. The problem I run into is running game on 2 different computers, one old one newer. I get lazy and set the graphics the same on both. So I deal with the heat, without complaint. Because I know I'm the cause of it.

So, everything is on Ultra or Cinematic.
Upscaling Method is on Nvidia DLSS
Antialiasing is Temporal TAA
I have reduced Upscaling preset from Quality to Balanced yet 32 of my cores are still pushing over 80c and the extractor is still on permanently.

One question, which I am thinking about, due to the upgrades on Satisfactory with Unreal Engine, could it be that it is a matter that Satisfactory is using newer technologies? and whilst the in game appearance is far superior it simply means the PC needs to do a lot more work?

Try turning off DLSS. On my studio rig, I got as good FPS with DLSS off as on. And yet my core temps on both CPU and GPU went down. Also, Suggest you use a program called "Core parking". It lets all your cores run in a balanced way. If your not aware of what core parking is the program will explain. Let's just say, if your on any desktop PC, running windows and have 4 or more cores. You need this program. Will extend the life of your processor. It is not an overclocking program. It just lets your cores run in a more balanced way, across all cores.
