I have a new objective....?

So I "finished" the game. That is I completed Phase 5 and all my objectives went away a week or so ago. With the ficsmas release, I now have a new objective for 50 smart plates in the top right corner (not delivered yet).

Is this part of ficsmas, or did they add an "after phase 5" thing to the game?

It's a bug. You can't complete it, and it randomly appears/disappears. You can disable the current objective entirely if you want. Somewhere in the settings.

Sounds like you got reset to phase 1 through some sort of bug.
It shouldnt be too hard to fee it 50 smart places are you already must have infrastructure to complete phase 2 already built.

BTW: you can upload your game to SCIM und undo all the research, hub upgrades, project assembly deliveries to do it a second time

If its asking for phase 1 parts I would just sent it phase 1 parts and see if that lets you move to phase 2. like I said since you completed phase 1 and 2 already you should have all the stuff in place to make quick work of that

This bug seems to be triggered when interacting with the MAM after completing the game, and possibly all the research trees as well. After reloading from a save, the objective goes away.

New patch just came through (12/3). This object went away after that. Haven't played enough to see if it comes back.

Just hit this bug too. Tried feeding the space elevator 50 smart plates, and it does accept them, filling up the counter, but then there's nothing to do. It just stops at 50/50.

I wasnt the one with the issue. I just though it would be fun to roll through them again if the game make it easy to do. not that I wanted to do that but if it happened I would do it for fun.
