Floor hole through multiple foundations?
Is there a way to do this?
I can't find a way to get them to connect.

Trying to get material coatings to work, it's often easier to stack foundations. In this case though floor holes don't work and i'd need to clip through it all - which isn't ideal. Am i missing a way to do this?

leave gaps between levels on the inside while blocking the outside solid and then you should be able to daisychain the floor openings. Otherwise, no.

no you are going to have to clip or have a space in between
IE Foundation with Floor hole, Gap, Foundation with floor hole.
Then you can just clip Foundations over the gap.

You can put a floor hole in a 4m foundation and get a 4m floor hole. You don't have to keep the 4m foundation afterward.

Beyond that, your only option is to chain foundation holes. Leave a 1m gap and you can run a lifter between them.

for me I just normally clip pipes though foundations. the floor hole is nice but clipping through still looks good. I often use floor holes to get the pipe routed but remove them after adding pumps and reconnect the pipes between the pumps themselves.
You could do something similar to pass through multiple foundations stacked one on another. The bonus is after the pipe is in place you can still clip the pipe hole over it to make it look like the pipe is going through the hole even if its not really.

Yeah, guess best/easiest is just to clip a lifter through the floors and then place a hole on either end just to match the look. :\ not ideal but workable. Was hoping i missed a method but doesn't look like it.

Clip the lift / pipes through the floor, then come back and clip small pillars over them. The Small Frame Pillar makes the lift/pipe look supported and less "floaty". The Small Metal Pillar hides the lift/pipe in what looks very much like ductwork. Small Concrete Pillar can make it disappear and just look like a normal column.

Mini lift in the gaps

If you got multiple floor holes in a row you can make one long lift ending in the last floor hole.

this is the answer. if you are trying to go through a total of 2 or 4 meters, use a 2 or 4 meter foundation, place the hole, delete those foundations and replace with the ones you wanted.

Option 2 is the clipping method if it is an odd number of foundations...however this is just cosmetic, not functional.
