The snake eating its own tail
I was part of the way through automating nuclear power when I suddenly saw it: the snake eating its own tail. I tried to take a step back but I could not unsee it. Consumption and production as part of the same organism, eternally self-perpetuating. The only reason for creating more factories is to consume more products to build more products to consume more products in more factories. The end of the game became indistinguishable from the beginning of the game. I could no longer tell if I was making/had made any progress. The game had just started and was near the end at the same time. I could not keep playing after that.

Nuclear claims another soul.

Don't do nuclear, do diluted fuel into fuel generators or if you're feeling feisty do rocket fuel into fuel generators.

For real, there is something about trying the nuclear grind that kills a lot people's runs.

Life feels that way if you take too much acid. Just like in real life sometimes you just gotta take some time with your lizard doggo and take it easy. Then set some artificial goal that might make you happy when you achieve it, but if you have no one to share it with does it really mean anything:riddle:

Isn’t this kinda the point of Automation games, a loop of making things move on belts to reach a goal, either one the game set for you or one you set for yourself?

This is going to be the third time I'll automate nuclear, up to plutonium sinking, this time I'll advance into ficsonium fuel rods even.

I find nuclear processing to be the best part of the game. Adequatly complicated, imposingly grand in it's dimensions, striking in its final power production. I'm projecting 1.4 TW, although I'll probably run into insufficient copper problems.

This game is amazing when everything suddenly flips from batch production and halted machines due to jammed traffic to continuous production in enormous quantities. Seeing your creation flawlessly producing, without jams or errors, in world spanning proportions is amazing.
