Me too. Isn't it weird because it has been a PC game all this time.
there are some games that just ain't meant for consoles.
No. I am not making fun. I will prefer it really.
It is a great development platform yes. It does seem like you think I dislike the PC. That is not true. I just program all day and I rather sit on my sofa to play this amazing game and watch it on the big screen.
Obviously smarter people than me can do the same with PC. Just my personal taste though. I love the PC.
I was just singing the praises of PC gaming is all while trying to be at worst neutral to consoles which I dont use much these days. My kids still use the console but I dont much anymore.
For the record though I too am sitting on my cough on a big screen. My PC is connected to a 6g inch plasma TV and I have second screen on a 32inch LED but I use that mainly for a web browser and the steam client. the game of whatever my primary thing I am doing on the PC is up on the plasma. Sometimes I have a movie up there instead of the game or something else.
You cont need a console to use a big screen and sit on the couch
You have a plasma TV that's still working even today? o.o
And its better picture then any LED I ever bought. although those new QLED or OLED I think are pretty comparable to my plasma...I just havent bought one of those yet. But this is ages better then standard LED that uses backlights.
The only down sides is it a monster move...these things have thick glass screens so they are way heavier then plastic screen LEDs
the other bad thing is again the screen is glass and you need a room without direct sunlight because the glass on the screen can be like a mirror in highly lit rooms. Normal light bulbs are ok but anything sunlight is just too much and you get alot of reflection.
Was under the impression they would eventually die due to the wear and tear of the gas - needing a recharge or some such - or I totally misremembered and its been too long.
Just don't hear Plasma TV's being a thing these days.
I guess there is gas in here that makes the plasma work but I if it never leaks or something then still there and can still do its job. The gas in there is going to disappear if its not leaking.
I just googled some info on how long plasma last.
seems my is a freak of nature as they should only last 5-7 years or about 100,000 hours. It says they might last longer if you turn them of for most of the day but mine has been on nearly 24/7 for the last 10 years while its been on my my PC. And before that I used it as a normal TV and it was probably 7-10 hours a day either with the PS3/4 or just watching TV.
So I cant explain why its still working...but I havent found an LED that have the picture quality so this TV is the best $2000 I ever spent.
It's not that it leaks - its just it eventually loses its ability to do the job.
That is like saying air stops being air because its blowing around for too long.
The only way they change change is if they mix with something else or maybe gain or loss protons/elections to move up or down in the periodic table.
