The hypertube is an exploit of a bug and the interactive map is an external tool. Both work fine ofc.
"creative usage"
"intended behavior"
Sure mate, whatever you say.
You know the floor hole and the wall holes aren't actually holes, right?
And that even if you clip a hypertube through something, you'll phase through it, right?
By design, you're supposed to phase through everything while in the hypertube.
So yeah, it's a creative use of intended behavior.
How do you build a hypertube underground?
I think the best way is with a blueprint. Build a hypertube blueprint where one entrance is above the other and both are powered. Snap the BP under a floating platform to ensure the lower entrance is built below the surface.
(You can do the same thing with a wall or with nudging to push a HT exit horizontally through a wall.)
Another quicker but only one-way method is with a foundation on the ground with a Hypertube Floor Hole and Entrance in it. Just remember: it's a one-way trip, and you'll need a jetpack and/or a parachute to keep yourself from falling forever.
Idk how rare this problem really is. I think almost everyone will run into it eventually, but it's impossible to tell.
