A shining beacon of hope, a sliver of justice.
But honestly, the competition in that category looked kinda weirdly selected: https://www.yardbarker.com/video_games/articles/golden_joystick_awards_2024_full_list_of_winners_nominees/s1_17458_41274195
Congratulations CCS!
No score. No clock. No judging. Everything is about choices, and if you make the wrong choice, the game will pick you up later, and you'll never know it. You can play on passive mode--no killing--or harvest fauna as you do flora, throw it into a giant Cuisanart for massive points. Down the road, those points shrink to the point there is no use going to the trouble. This is how the game works. You may gain a short-term reward, but you'll always end up in the same place. Incredible game design.
Plus, it looks great!
I can't stop playing and praising. I love this game so much. Great job, CSS. You win the prize.
"but you'll always end up Satisfactory. Incredible game design."
Fix'd
:) (And totally in agreement)
Except their decision for a no male model. I know, i know, is no biggie. Just wanted to have that option and a mirror inside hub. At least once they added customization, helped a bit.
Satisfactory is a great game and a really good release compared to many horrible releases we had this year. Oh boy, many 1.0 which should be in beta yet. And all that political stuff in games are killing many as well. Hopefully the industry will heal ...
