Machines going idle for no reason
Anyone noticed this ?
They have power, they have all the ressources, their outputs are empty, and still they go idle when I get close to them (with an interval of a few minutes inbetween occurences). I have this room full of manufacturers : when I enter, the machines are working, I get closer, bam, idle, and then they restart.

I've checked all my sites and it seems to happen only in one. Hypertubes on a second site too, but they just turn yellow, they keep working.

1600 hours and first time I see this. Weird and annoying.

Unequip the hoverpack, see if it still happens then

I had this problem where I could not get all my machines to send all their outputs to the destination, and it was causing the end of the line to be starved. I checked all the belts, redid them, redid the mergers, and quit out of frustration.

I came back after the patch and it was fixed, but now my game crashes far too often. It never crashed before.

Thanks Rabbit. I had thought about the hoverpack but discarded the idea without testing, there's plenty of power to spare. And whadayaknow, it doesn't happen when I don't have the hoverpack.
But it has to be a bug, right ? And note contructors are not affected, only machines of a higher tier.

This is happening to me now on my Aluminum line. All buffers are only at 10% capacity, Water output is 3 times the usage all Idle with full input and empty outputs. I don't have hover pack, I was going straight to nuke power. Changing recipes and changing it back kick started them back up.

Do you have separate power grid where you didn't want one?

Check downstream - had this happen to me - turned out my Scilica waste being recycled back in was 5-10 seconds too slow at the aluminium ingots foundries.
Would cause a brief stall and the "Evidence" of what happened would vanish due to chain reaction upstream.

Once I sinked the waste scilica (for the time being) - problem never came back.
This just started happening to me, even when I’m using a jetpack. It started on my stator lines just a few minutes ago.
