Building Categories

I haven't played in a while. Where are all of the tabs that used to be under the build tab. I just have one monster list of all the items. This is really annoying, I liked the sub tabs where I could find the grouping I wanted. It is NOT helpful to have to take the time and type in what I am looking for, or continually scroll thru the monster list.

The Build Menu does have some categories: Power, Logistic, Foundations, Walls, etc. There should be 8 or 9 categories on the left side in the Build Menu.

Also, Hotbars are handy for adding favorite parts for quick access.

there's two menus one via the q key and the other via the o key, q key lists building in separate sections, o key lists buildings in one big list.

There is only one Build Menu. You probably mean the Search function, yeah, that would be tedious to use it all the time.

Just got back from vacation and jumped back into the game. I found the problem, I use a Logitech game pad and since the last time I had played all the key binds had been changed in the game. Reset all my key binds and everything is working fine.
