What to do with extra elevator project parts?

Is there a use for things like smart plates, versatile frames, and automated wirings once i finish a tier? Or should i sink all the extras?

You may want to keep them. I know the there was one that repeated for the next tier, just a larger amount of them, but I cant remember what off the top of my head.

You are going to need them
All the parts for the Space elevator, are used to make a part in later phases
Example and the bane of my existence during EA:
Automated Wiring > Adaptive Control Unit > Assembly Director System

In EA you need 4000 of those ADS… v1.0, you are going only need like 400… 10x less.

if its versatile frame then sink it
if its smart plating, automated wiring then u can use it other thing like ACU (adaptive control unit)

Magnetic Field Generator Needs the v frames… so don’t sink them

I would say sink it till you need it. you will need most if not all of the early game space elevator parts in late game. (I haven't finished the game)

First time player here that recently just arrived to the last phase..

Let's just say. in the last phase of the elevator, the amount needed is increased by an insane amount. And some of the parts needed to construct the new parts are the ones you mention.
I thought I left enough space for expansion of my machines, clearly I did not. (currently tearing down 80% of my mega factory base) xD

A storage container or two does not cost much material...

Phase 4 is being reduced to a 10% of the current requirements and there will be a phase 5, along with a tier 9.

If you want anything from the shop, just sink it.
The requirements increase exponentially as you move into the higher tier stuff, so a few extra ones aren't going to make a difference when you'll need to scale up construction and produce them at a much higher rate to achieve the next delivery in any reasonable time.

How many manufacturers for ACUs do you guys recommend for the last tier?

I m waiting for 100 at my cirrent tier (5 or 6?). Nothi g to do while i wait i might as well scale up what i can now.
