I get why they were never an option in this version - and it's possible the technology will never be as good as hand crafted ones, but for even more longevity and variety it might be good.
I have to admit that I won't buy early access from them again. 18 months* of not dealing with annoyances and bugs was just a too long timespan.
(* given they will have hopefully dealt with them when 1.0 hits)
FFS, why do all games have to have combat??? I like shooters too, but there is place for non-violent games too.
There wouldn't be much incentive to buy 2 in EA as 1 would be available to play as a full release with mods etc.. 2 would have to be sufficiently different than 1 to entice pre-release adopters.
That's a valid arguement. Personally I can't plan and build every day, on some days I am just too tired and then I am happy that I still can go exploring and hunting. But it has to be optional in a game like this.
Not sure if it's really too early (respect nevertheless the opinon of both of you) but then they don't listen to Steam community anyway, so it doesn't matter what we suggest here.
Look how in other games devs respond with with a "Thank you - I make a not for the team". Two days later both issues were fixed in the game !!
Same happened exactly so in Astro Colony which is also Early Access.
Exactly, we do not know for certain what's gonna be in 1.0, so how can we possibly wish for 2.0?
I do wish for more content. I think many do. I don't care though if that is DLC for this version or for Satisfactory 2.
I think SA 2 should be a lot like the first game but with a lot of features from the first game tweaked and improved into the second game with additional features. Keep in mind Im imagining this ten years in the future where Satsifactory is in like 1.5 or further and the devs plan on making a sequel.
Let's also not forget that Satisfactory was the first of it's kind. Naturally there will be progress when moving on to the second generation. I am sure that new companies will deliver improved/enhanced copies of Satisfactory.
