More Games like this?
I am currently looking for more games like Satisfactory. I just have 1 request: It should be 1st or 3rd person, so not like Factorio. It doesn't have to be Automation, but it should be similar. So maybe stuff like Space Engineers too. Just games for chilling, where you are able to build factories or stuff. The building should be in focus, so please no survival crafting games like Palworld.

I already know Foundry, but it's a bit too minimalistic imo.

Do you have any interesting suggestions?

I hear Astro Colony is neat.

In my view, none of the others I've played really compare.. The better offerings I've played:
Automation Empire - though it's prolly not worth full price.
Techtonica - interesting take, but the voxels annoy me enough not to keep coming back to sink many hours (I will return and continue to, but it's not likely to be thousands of hours over years).

I still haven't tried Dyson Sphere Program, I suspect I'll skip it. There's a handful of others, but either I don't like them or aren't even interested in trying them, eg, MegaFactory Titan.

Yeah it's not worth $30, and what little the game tells you, you basically have to figure it out for yourself... or look up a guide, which I didn't do... and went way pass the 2 hour return window just trying to figure the game out.
There is fun to be had in it, but it's limited.

Techtonica's Biggest problem is Performance... my 200 hour save I get like 30 fps near running water.... on a 4070 ti, I Get 100+ here most of the time.

Hydroneer? Not quite the same, but similar vibes

I've tried a couple and seen some more....

but reality is that nothing is as satisfactory as Satisfactory. (really)

Might look at The Planet Crafter. Not the same, but lots of building and exploring. The downside is that you can die from lack of oxygen, water, and food. So cannot just stand around and wait as even in your main base you can die from lack of food and water.

Also you have to manually eat and drink. Cannot automate it.

dyson sphere is really good, with the new-ish enemys update it is a bit more action focused

Planet Crafter is ok and has the same kind of vibe.

Very satisfying if you restore the planet instead of exploiting and hurting fauna and flora
