Also, with 1.0 could eventually also come some more optimization (and better performance as they remove some debugging / test functions no longer needed)

So in the end could be even be the same (or better) as now with update 8

They did they say they made some major progress in optimizing the game. It's supposed to run much better.

if you want to play games with Unreal Engine 5.x you need better hardware, but you dont have to buy a 4090 if a 4060 can handle it.

Moving stuff to the GPU will be interesting.

Are yo serious? That GPU is like 15 years old by now. It will have hard time running Skyrim on high settings.

ay before satisfactory can be launched on a potato like laptop but now it is not
