Pure Nodes

I keep reading that a Pure node offers 120 units/min and Normal only 60. When I find a Pure node and put a Mk 1 Miner on it, it only gives 60. I started removing the Pure cap and below that cap it says Normal. Is this a bug, update, or am I doing something wrong?

The rock on top of many nodes is always pure. The node itself has the purity that determines how effective a miner placed on it is.

Node purity is a multiplier for the miner's supply, not a set supply amount. Normal nodes are 1x, pure nodes are 2x, and impure nodes are 0.5x.

Make sure your belt speeds can handle the supply of the miner. It can only output as fast as the belt its connected to.

I assume you are looking at the rock in the middle. They always say pure. You need to look at the ground to see the actual purity of the node.
