Game went from fun to just annoying...
I don't know if the Devs thought Challenge and painfully stupid were the same thing or not but it sure has taken the fun out of this game. When everything is almost out of reach at the top an absurdly tall mountain requiring an hour of how do I get there. Not because things could attack you or something but just put there to make you start hating the game. Compound that by extremely long times to make some parts that are 1 per min. and you need hundreds. I sometimes just load it up and let my pc sit here while I watch a dvd or read waiting for the parts I need to be made so I can progress. I am only playing limited amounts now to finish it then time to uninstall. Really loved this game in the beginning to have it turn out this way.

"Just build more." "Just make transport network across map." "BUILD MOAR." lol "Turbo motors are a nightmare.", I thought. Then I started automating Thermal rockets, assembly directors, etc. My game started dying from uobject overloads before I built the nuke plant which uses all the uranium on the map and that was before I automated all the final parts at 10/m. Super computers and turbo motors and fused frames at 25/m. Man I can really identify with OP in his complaints but I am most likely autistic so I love this game. I stopped having goals in it long ago and my only drive in this game has become "Because I can." Until I can't because the game refuses to load or crashes every 5 minutes. Funny fact, if I open a container or the map more than 5 times in as many seconds my game crashes. If I open a container or the map more than 20 or 30 times in a ten minute window I also crash. Saving takes 45 seconds on average. I hate that I love this game.

you can get to the highest peaks in seconds with a ladder or a ramp. I have no clue wtf you talking about?!

Either people decide to see the limitations and problems and how insolvable the whole situation is. Or they decide to look out for solutions, possibilities and ways to achieve their goals. In this case ladders, stairs and ramps solve it fantabulous but obviously OP is one of the former type which only sees the "impossible".

Uh, you can speed up production and even get more resources to your work area. And you can ramp anywhere. But when its going slow I try to find ways to increase production...

I don't think you actually know how to do things. Climbing is stupidly easy, I literally bounce from mountain to mountain. Before I had the jetpack I just made ramps and catwalks to get places while slug hunting. That was easy enough, but with the jetpack mountains have become little more than mild obstacles. Now I just build the occasional ladder. And the entire point is that you build a bunch of those low rate machines. The very background picture I'm seeing while typing this is a bunch of things working in unison to make a truckload of just iron plates.

I never really waited to stuff be done, when I had down times I did go exploring and when I came back it was mostly done.

I really enjoyed exploring in those bursts.
