any of you crazy enough to start a new now?
i really wanna continue satisfactory again. (i completed it a few times already) but watching the most recent video makes me feel like its pointless since 1.0 will completely ruin anyones current build. (recipe changing, node changes etc)

but i was wondering if there is anyone out there now who is mad enough to still start another before 1.0 releases lol

I set up a creative build just to try different things until 1.0 release.

I did start a new run, but lost enthusiasm before making the space elevator. Just mostly thinking about what to do with quartz being moved.

I doubt many are starting new, or at least starting a run they expect to still be playing after release. Your Satisfactory time right now is better spent finishing up previous runs, building blueprints, learning systems you haven't delved deeply into before like trains, finalizing your aesthetic and cosmetic designs for your 1.0 world, min/maxing speed run ideas, practicing basic zapper combat against alphas, or getting your spreadsheets in order.

I tried but the thought of missing any part of the Story (which most certainly will be not that great though) kills every interest in going further; even to start a serious new game.

Doing Blueprints, sorting Blueprints from different saves, checking Mapterrain for neat trainlines (after getting rid of all the flora), trying all the silly stuff one can came up with and some videos are about, building arches...thats the play at the moment.
I so hope the Videofeaturette of which Snutt has spoken of is not limited to the one we got two weeks ago. Understandingly they are all in crunching mode at the time (I guess) and the time spent in the game has more value than wasting time in Videoediting but am I the only one who is craving for News and ANY Information about 1.0?

I never finished T7/T8, as I started playing last year, recognised it was coming out of EA, then saved it so I could crack on with a friend when it gets released.

I started a new one just yesterday. I had an idea to tweak my main base\assembly line, and how to route external resources to it. So I'm testing it out. The placement, amount, quality of resource nodes don't matter.

I am not sure I will play the game again, even after the 1.0 release.

No, I will wait 1.0 and the first patch after it then start a new one

I just finished a turboblend setup and planning for a turbomotor/nucelar plant. People are overly dramatic about the burnout

Yes, guilty as charged

I beg for leniency.

Starting a watchable version tonight.

Unless somebody knows exactly when 1.0 drops, in which case I may have a rethink.

started my second session last week end. I don't care about the release date, it will comes when it comes, I just enjoy to play, and having my journey broken by the release is not a problem for me : I will just begin the third session.

I think this will arrive shortly after they return from summer break. That being said, I play a lot but its fine tuning blueprints and trying new stuff and improving my factory designs.

Once 1.0 arrives, its my intention to start from scratch, completely vanilla - not even changing settings in the game such as passive or flight, and even start right at the beginning with the landing cut scenes.

Right now, I usually have free build and mods just to practice making attractive designs. Since even recipes are likely to change, but the main changes seem to be the purities and locations of ores, which would be a game breaker for me I think

I come here from scrapmechanic. I've never beaten this game. Devs don't really have a relevant impact for me other than the occasional boost to solid content. Rain or shine, when I bought it it was "enough of a game for the money". But it'd still be horrible if it ended right here.
