Will 1.0 Wipe our worlds?

Hello, i'm a new player and i like putting some hours and effort into the game, but i read somewhere that everything we did will be wipe, the worlds etc. Is it true? or could we be able to play 1.0 with our old worlds? idk i don't want to put more hours in the game now that i know it'll maybe get wipe. Thanks

Your save will work.... nothing gets wiped
Just some nodes have been remove and Recipes have been re-balanced... so you might have to fix them.
Also if you care about the Story, your old save might cause you to miss some things, there.
and Achievements will have to be on a new save.

what will changed in 1.0
- nodes(rarty, position, add and delete nodes)
- mid-endgame recipes(newest info say: most recipes will change(amount of items)
- achievements are maybe locked

If you have "waste free" power plants you are probably going to have a hard time fixing things. just think about all the waste accumulating while you figure out why the resources don't come in because some node was replaced while working against the clock before everything shuts down.

Alright thanks ! I just unlocked tier 4 and oil processing, i think i'm gonna just grow the factory without new nodes and i'll wait 1.0 to move to tier 5 and everything. thanks for your answers man

that recipes will change with 1.0 is known since update 5 or even earlier..
i cant wait anymore.. since 1.0 was announced i stopped playing to not "burn out" before 1.0 is live.

Do whatever you want with your "limited time" but don't put the blame on others for your own inability and failure to manage your own time. Buy unfinished games and deal with the consequences. It is your time, it is your own responsibility.

Surely unfinished games need more nervs. But since also some QOL features are missing in EA and things are changing it is not a far-fetched conclusion that you also need more time.

What you have learned, you learned. Everything you learn now will be very useful for later. The changes will not affect your basic building skills and comprehension of the general game mechanics. Satisfactory requieres anyway to rebuild or build anew so many times when you progress up the tiers that the expected changes will not carry thaaat much weight!

Yeah the old save will work but personally I have tooo big of a base stretching from the desert to forests , up hill , dowhill with around 7 trains , 20 drones and 9 Nuclear power plants. I am just going to leave it there and not spend hours hours fixing it

Gonna start a new game when it launches ,this time not going nuclear , just oil
