I still can't complete phase 3 ...

I mean i totally can in terms of meterial. But there is just so much stuff to do.

I got so absorbed into the game with fulfilling the demand for the production of the control units, the smokless powder, the tubro fuel, research for the various trees. I have 4 thermal plants online.

So i was ready to send that elevator up to the overlord, when i noticed that I totally missed tier 6 upgrades all this time

I can unlock them all rn and this changes everything because i will most likely spend another 10+ hours doing stuff before i hit phase 4.

The amount of content is just crazy and i'm not even done.

Oh wait till you get to 8. Then you need 4000 units of a couple things and 1000's of others. Lots of fun and always something to do. I'm trying to finish up 8 before the realse of 1.0 this year. Lol. Keep chucking along. You'll get there.

Are they just really annoying to build? Or what am i'm missing?

They barely reach pretty far and they behave in the weirdest ways. Do they have no poles like the belts?

Well i cant even get them to work so far. I build a fuel loading station but i guess you need a complete line, i mean full circle?

Auto drive would not work either. Dont know if i build the train the wrong way around?

But there is barely enough space for these huge things. You need to build platforms for the rail as well. If they would only work like the Belts. You press once and can make the higher.

The way this is rn it feels very annoying to deal with. You might as well indeed build a very long belt or let a truck drive.

It fells not worth it.

i tend to skip trains and trucks, too much set up and i'll already have belts by this point anyway. drones are nice tho, set the ports and they auto path

They were just saying they don’t bother with trains and trucks, and just use belts (maybe in bus type layout)

Well i will give it another try rn but i guess its not worth it.

You should be able to build train tracks as far and as easy as there big power towers. They cover huge distance.

The way it is rn tracks are way to tedious to build over long distances.

There are folk out there who have created magnificent 'model-railway' like infrastructure. IIRC, there are some good guides covering this topic out there :).

Well i was able to set up a line for tubro fuel and empty canisters from my oil fields to my base so it gets unloaded and packed there.

You can redirect trains on the same track. I thought you need to build a second track. I also made the track a bit more clean.

It's fine for now. I still think you should be able to build the tracks a bit easier. I wanna try how it works with some of the structures you can buy in the sink shop.

It looks a bit messy with the concrete block foundations.

You will get difficulties if you ever try and have more than one train on that track system. Signalling a bidirectional track segment is super difficult.

I guess so. but so far i only run one train and i just got my third train station.
