Items in inventory can not be deleted
Vanila game, no mods.

Any Idea why it does not work?

I have sitting there:
1 Mercer Sphere Wip
1 Sommersloop Wip
1 Blue Power Slug
1 Yellow Power Slug
1 Purpel Power Slug

I can not move them to my bin basket in the inventory, they just dont delete.

I also tried the save game editor and they show there with 1 item. When I delete them and move the save game and load it, I still have one item of them in my inventory.

Saved again, restarted...no cure.

The only think I can do is to throw the items on the floor. When I pick them up again, same problem. No delete

Why in the hell would want to delete slugs? you need them for power shards (which is why you can't delete them)
and The WIP items are story related so those can't be deleted either
This isn't a bug, they don't what you deleting those.

Have you tried turning your slugs to power shards? And the others are WIP works in progress, so they are part of the story. Probably not able to trash them becasue of that. Why do you wanna get rid of power slugs? They make shards to overclook machines.

With the slugs, could convert them to power shards and then toss the shards if really wanting to be done away with them :) The other two items clearly state WIP (work in progress), so yeah, not overly surprised some functionality not work properly.

Ah ok, so no delete for this items. Strange. I deleted all cause I want to newly start over, but with everything reseted and empty, just with all my skills.

Shards worked. Other stuff I just packed into the box of my hub.

Since slugs don't respawn (at least aren't meant to, sometimes a game update can glitch them back into existence), guess the devs were protecting us from ourselves accidentally deleting a valuable, non-renewing resource.

So, yeah, even if wanna go full 'scorched earth' approach with your game, best to hold on those slimy slugs. :D

Cool, thank you. This makes also sense. As I can move them to a storage box no biggy. I just not want them in my inventory yet

Oh, just a thought, isn't there an option in start a new game with custom start conditions? Ie, can you start a fresh game but with all the tiers already unlocked?

EDIT: Yup, under New Game -> Advanced Game Settings -> Progression, can set everything unlocked. Might be another way to go about it for you.

you can now do an advanced start with everything unlocked and researched from the very beginning, no real need to delete your inventory to 'start again'
