I've only ever been able to play in "Offline" mode.
The Server Manager entry in the menu has a Exclamation Point inside a red triangle in front of it, and when I started my game today, it told me I was playing Offline and as Singleplayer and that none of my Friends could join me.
Not sure WHY, but that's how my game has always been
I leave steam Online.
After that, no need to be online for satisfactory or steam
So I just remember this....
There is their a -NoMultiplayer command line modifier, if you make a shortcut to the EXE and add that to the end of the target... and then you are basically offline forever.
actually might want to add -NoSteamClient -EpicPortal too just to be sure.
Looks like this.
Installpath\FactoryGame.exe -NoMultiplayer -NoSteamClient -EpicPortal
I did have to make a shortcut with -NoSteamClient -EpicPortal to get it to work (steam will launch if you don't)
I'm guessing YES. It sounds like they completely shut it down and used the command line argument to prevent steam from launching and starting up.
I Just ran the exe via that shortcut, with the Laptop disconnected from the network.
