Stairs and ramps when you use 1m walls in your construction

It drives me nuts that inclined foundations, stairs and ramps are all designed for 4m elevations. But sometimes you use the 1m walls to add 1 or 2 m of height to a room.

How do you handle stairs/ramps to go up 5 or 6m?

keep space for 2 extra foundations next to the staircase. Solve the last meter with a 1 meter ramp.
