VR?
I remember that this game didn't have VR in the roadmap. Also, there are some older threads about it.
However, the update 8 video looks very VR to me with the hand controllers, noticable "gestures" and everything. Is this game VR now?

No, they said they dont have some one who is interested to making the game for VR.

Yup, the devs said explicitly in their YT videos that they are not interested right now in VR, have no expertise with VR and VR is not anywhere on the roadmap for the near future.

Ok. Thank you for the update.

Regardless that they said not yet, it would be great to have it. As the game already has a lot of POV and the arm animations are there, adding VR support before production release is possible as I'm sure there will be more testers in early release who can try out VR.

Games that are not explicitly built from the ground up for VR shouldn't try to shoehorn it in during the final stages of development to appease the 2% of Steam users that have a VR headset.

You can mod it in

Someone is working on a tool that can add VR support to any Unreal Engine game: https://youtu.be/oEchqL0gMOE?si=nWT20x5S1ByS3awk

You can use VorpX to play it in VR. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKz79xo07sM
The problem is that you can't use the hands like in normal VR games. Maybe Praydog UEVR is even better. Never tried it

Or.. people can stop trying to ask for something that won't ever be in the game. It doesn't matter how many threads they make asking for VR or how many times they ask the developer. It's NEVER coming to the game. This thread and others like it are literally spam.
While the Devs aren't making VR for the game, People are working a mod for it.

That's impossible. VR can't be hacked into a game with mods. It has to be completely written into the game's base code to support it by the developers. And they aren't doing it.
They aren't hacking the game, just Using a separate piece of software to interface with it, to simulate VR, it probably will never be perfect, but good enough for those who wanna use it.

Except that it can, in fact, be "hacked" into the game with mods since most up to date game engines natively support VR. There is even a universal vr injector for games made with Unreal Engine 4 and 5 now which works with satisfactory.
