This is accurate and the "Before" photo does look epic.
This was actually a good mention. I tested this out after you stated this and with DLSS on or off, everything maxed out the content on the belts regardless of what it is, is slightly grainy. BUT this is on the level 5. They don't appear grainy on the 4 and below. It might have to do with the speed at which they traverse.
Someone blamed latest UE5 for not being able to render fast moving objects properly.
I'ma have to steeply dissagree there.
Thats fine, I personally feel it more grainy, lights are washed out and missplaced (unless you activate lumen), Screenspace Reflections are still buggy since ever..., Glass has issues with rendering behind it, Textures in general look worse.
Yeah dunno its all maxed out and performance is fine but it looks worse I probably have to make some screenshots to compare it.
I hope they iron out some issues with color grading when switching biomes and lake/river transitions.
