can't access blueprints from previous game
I have tried copying the blueprint folder to factory game/saves and .../ my game folder but they aren't showing up under the blueprint tab in builder. The floor blueprints should show up. The coal burners might need the Mk3 belts unlocked first but the floors should show up.

Don't copy the folder, just the content.
Make sure you saved at least one time a blueprint in your current save.
Once this is done copy the files to your new session directory.

Didn't work. I'll try something else tomorrow.

I made them in U7. I wounder if maybe the game doesn't upgrade blueprints from U7 to U8.

Maybe I have to recreate them for U8. If that is the case then I hope CS fixes that before U8 comes to the EA branch.

Old blueprints and saves should work afaik. If it doesn't it must be experimental.
Maybe a stupid question: are the blueprints in the right directory?

They are in the blueprints directory under the game saves directory. /steam1/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/526870/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames/blueprints I use Linux so under the games /pfx directory.

I figured it out. I created a fake blueprint with just one constructor and then used my file manager to find the files. It seems every game you make gets it's own blueprint folder under the main blueprint folder. I thought it would be a folder named blueprints under each game from the way Z1 gaming explained it. All my blueprints are showing up now. It doesn't recreate the blueprint sub folders so I will have to recreate those and then move the blueprints where they belong.
