It started raining

i dont know how or why but it just started raining out of the blue, i always heard it was turned off.

Really? I mean granted I’ve played for 1423 hours, and it rains a lot for me.

It's probably biome-specific. In my current save I have almost 170 hours of playtime and don't remember seeing rain, but I picked the Rocky Desert start and have spent most of my time there. I did notice that when you move from Rocky Desert to the Northern Forest over the natural bridge, there's a thick fog.

this is the first rain I've seen in 30hrs on this playthrough, its been so long since my last playthrough I can't remember if I saw it back then or not

I mostly play in or near the grasslands, as my main factory is near the wallfall

I get rain from time to time as well, and my factory is also in the grasslands, so it may just be there.

Rain is disabled in Experimental Update 8.
If you play Early Acces you are in update 7 and the rain is on.

Thats what I thought, due to unreal 5 engine. An issue they were working on.

I am on U8 so I havent yet seen it

I was playing in Dune, thought the desert was the only place it never rains. Never notice the known issue that rain was disabled in U8, left me wondering why it never did rain anymore.

im on default version and I had it rain not that long ago. Rained a few times. I am in forest area thing.

It also rains around the Rocky Desert area, or at least offshore of that, where I'm building Seaview.

The update 8 thing explains it in my case since I'm playing on experimental.
