Best mod for mass delete?
Good morning,

Is there a reliable mod currently for mass delete/dismantle? I used to use AreaActions but it's now flagged as Red/Broken, or at least on Experimental U8 it is.

Tearing down and rebuilding like a man man currently and holding CTRL with 50 item limit and missing every little conveyor prop and pipe hole is laborious.

If there's any mass area dismantle mod that currently works for U8, please reccomend.

Thank you!

You can use a save editor like SCIM, however last I checked that was not fully U8 compatible either.

You can try Quick Dismantle by Aquila but I have never gotten it working. It is 8 compatible and the chat command doesnt return a "no command" error message but it just never has worked for me in the few times I have tried it.

It worked for me in terms of dismantling but the chests it left behind with the materials in were none in-teractable and if you reloaded, they just vanished and your mats were gone.

Not a mod but an already implemented trick:

Once you marked your 50 things of the same kind to dismantle press MOUSE 4. This unselects all accidently marked things.

Thank you Sir

Can I select specific items to tear down in a specific area?
I was also told that I can restore plants and trees.
but would it restore ALL plants and trees?

Delete items in a specified area - yes. You can box select, I think you can also free-form select

Restore all foliage - I don't know

Damn. Wish Id spotted this reply before 30 mins of holding ctrl and mass sweeping last night lol. Got random conveyor poles and chests with 3 plates in just scattered around floating in the void.

Will check this out at the weekend. Ty
