Serious Roadmap
Is there an up to date version of this roadmap:
https://old.satisfactorygame.com/roadmap-1

But a serious version with actual plans, milestones and date estimates, unlike the wiki page with full of "as joke" references.

I mean It's all fun and games but I like to humbly remind that this game has been in development since 2016.

Is it true that it'll finally be fully released after update 9 (going to v1. 0 afterwards)?

Snutt did say recently that they're pretty much settled on what's in/out of the rest of development, but we'll just have to cool our heels and wait. With major updates coming every 6 months or so, 1.0 might be this time next year.

There is no known info on how many updates will come before 1.0. There is an internal roadmap but the devs havent shared it with us and its mostly because they are not 100% sure they can meet roadmap and dont want to promise something they wont be giving us in the long run. So for now they only give us info on things they are 100% certain they can do and the dates they are 100% certain they can meet.

Thank you both so much.

And some games been in development since 2011 ur point is? Be happy they updating it at all some devs outright stop and just run away or dont bug fix

You sound too demanding and that is not fair. I have squeezed more solid hours of FUN and interesting, thoughtful gaming for the few euros I paid than most of the "finished" games I know - and my first console was an Atari.

In defense of OP, this game risks missing it's moment. New and amazing games are continually coming out. If they keep endlessly developing and not releasing the day will come when interest caves. People who were interested in the game have exhausted their interest after hundreds (or thousands) of hours of early access and people who might have been interested in 1.0 have moved on after 7 or 8 or 9 years of early access.

Also, I really love the game and want to play it. I have over 200 hours in the game but stopped playing about 2 years ago in anticipation of 1.0. I keep an eye on the updates and they're amazing. It tempts me to jump back in. But if I give in and play before the 1.0 I'm cheating myself out of experiencing it the proper way. I don't want that. I want the full experience (and hopefully without a trash, woke story to ruin this great game).

Then again, they're moving to UE 5, which has improvements that are so perfect for Satisfactory. It may require me to buy a new computer... but godddddayyymmmmitt...

...okay I'll keep waiting. Fine. I'll keep waiting. Time to wait. What choice do I have? It's waiting time. Must suppress desire to play... a... little... longer...
Even if that was the case off people losing intrest theyd already have ur money they just making updates cuz they like making the game

Good call OP.
All roadmaps are imperfect and subject to change, we get it, but they should still share it.
